A Comprehensive Self-Defense Class with Chris James – Back by popular demand, BALANCE for Blind Adults is thrilled to reintroduce our evening Self-Defense workshop! Rooted in the principles of Commando Krav Maga, instructor Chris James will guide participants through real-life scenarios using techniques that are simple, practical, and effective. Self-defense is about more than just physical protection—it also includes emotional resilience. In this class, Chris will highlight the physical and emotional value of self-defense. With over 13 years of experience in martial arts and community volunteering, Chris has taught self-defense across the GTA and internationally. He is excited to partner with BALANCE again to bring this empowering program to our community. What previous participants have said about this workshop: “This group was very hands-on.
