Strength & Stability Classes – New Time & Location!
BALANCE for Blind Adults is excited to announce that our Strength & Stability classes are continuing this April and May with a new day and time!
Starting April 1, 2025, classes will take place every Tuesday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at our new location:
West Neighbourhood House – Lounge A 248 Ossington Avenue, Toronto
These classes are designed to help improve balance, build strength, and support overall mobility in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Learn practical skills, move with confidence, and feel stronger.
BALANCE for Blind Adults is offering a 2-day self-defence workshop designed specially for you. In a supportive and accessible environment, you'll learn techniques to improve your safety, awareness, and confidence.
Dates: Saturday, August 9 and Sunday, August 10, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM – 4:15 PM (includes a 15-minute break)
Location: Stan Meek Lounge, Lower Level, West Neighbourhood House

What to bring: Yoga mat for Sunday’s session (affordable mats available at Dollarama for $5)
Note: Participants must attend both days.
