This course will reduce communication-related stress and provide you with the opportunity to practice and build skills in a safe setting. You’ll learn assertive communication, self-advocacy strategies, active listening and how to give and receive feedback. At the end of the program, you will be able to apply your new skills in your everyday life and more actively engage in the activities that are important to you.

If you have been wanting to start exercising but aren’t sure where to begin, join Personal Trainer and Occupational Therapy Assistant Mark Mangabay for our Power Hour!
This session will include 30 – 45 minutes of exercise to uplift your mood and get you sweating, as well as tips on exercising safely in the home and a Q&A portion for all things fitness! Set to upbeat music, this workout will start with a light warm up, followed by gentle dynamic stretching, upper and lower body strengthening exercises and finish off with gentle static stretching.

Using original multi-track recordings, instructor Dan Minchom will break down and discuss the ever-evolving techniques, tricks and technologies that allow music to sound the way it does today. We’ll also look at interesting stories of famous artists who broke the mould and set new standards for recorded music and discuss how their creativity changed audio forever.
